The Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadet is selected by Cadet Group leaders and the Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association for Wales for their outstanding service and contributions to their respective unit and organisation. The role includes attendance with the Lord-Lieutenant, at several official engagements, including remembrance events, Royal visits and parades.
The Lord-Lieutenant's Cadets are appointed on an annual basis and include representatives from Sea Cadets, Army Cadet Force and Air Training Corps.
